My name is Steve and I am the founder of The Internet Business Guide.  I started my internet marketing career in 2003, as a way to supplement my income.  I found out early on, that all of the promises of the “gurus” to teach me how to make huge amounts of money with no work and only a small investment, were lies.  I tried a bunch of them.  None of them worked.  I did not make my fortune overnight by referring only 3 people, etc.

Over time, I did find some approaches that did make me some money.  Some of them short lived, others offered more sustained income.  The bad news is that ALL of them required effort on my part.  Go figure.

I had always used internet marketing part time.  Recently, though, I was forced to retire from my “regular” job as a plumber, due to work related injuries.  I knew that my disability was not going to pay me enough to live the lifestyle that I want to live, so I went looking for new ways to earn money online.  Luckily, my past experience helped me to filter out the crap and false promises, and find some ways that do actually work.

Currently, I am using a combination of techniques that I have learned from some very successful internet marketers.  I am making money every day, and the amount that I make grows more and more each month.  I am not going to tell you how much I make, because it has nothing to do with how much you will make.  You can make a lot less than me, or a lot more.  It is totally up to you.  The amount of money you will make will be a direct result of three things:

  • Intention – This is my goal.
  • Commitment – Nothing is going to keep me from achieving that goal.
  • Context – This is who I need to be every day to get this done.
